Couple says 'yes' aboard romantic flight to Paris on Valentine's Day

Love is on the air, and Low-Cost Islanda Play can prove it after celebrating a wedding aboard the Valentine’s Day special flight to Paris, held on the morning of February 14.

The crew, composed exclusively by couples working for the company, created a romantic environment for the ceremony. A passenger couple accepted Play’s invitation to marry midway between Iceland and France, which was especially appropriate for Icelandic groom Valur and French bride Kita.

The surprise ceremony had about 200 guests, who lived the moment with great joy. “Most flights only go through the wait to land and finally reach their destination. This was a fantastic surprise, incredibly fun and romantic marriage. The best flight ever! ”Said Elma Dís Dís arnadóttir, a passenger on board.

Crew couples on this special flight were Commander Sverrir örn Valdimarsson and his wife and senior crew member Katrín Lára VilhjálmsDóttir; The Cab Cabin Cabin Friðfinnsson and his girlfriend Rakel Björk EgilSdóttir; and the first Officer ævar þór Björnsson and his companion, the Senior Cabes Cabina Cabina Björk Kristinsdóttir.

“Samúel and I met at a Play staff party for a year. I have been working for Play since its foundation, and it has been working for almost two years. We are very fond of working together, especially on long -haul flights, when we can spend some time together at our destination, ”said Rakel Björk EgilSdóttir.
