Dies José Francisco, Roberto Carlos do Palheiral, after being run over on his way home in Rio Branco

José Francisco Martins, Roberto Carlos do Palheiral, a popular PP militant, died on Thursday night (13), being run over by a motorcycle. The accident occurred when he was on his way home, in the Andirá Set, near IFAC (Federal Institute of Acre). Roberto was 68 years old and, as it appears, had no children.

There is no further information about the accident and the rider has not been identified. Samu was even triggered but came only in time to certify the death.

Roberto Carlos do Palheiral earned the nickname because he used to cheer up the rallies of his party. He has also become a candidate a few times without ever succeeding at the polls.
