In Eliza’s marriage, in Venda Nova do Imigrante, in the Brazilian state of Espírito Santo, a simple photograph eventually anticipated a special moment in the life of seven childhood friends. It all started when two of them, pregnant at the time, decided to pose with their hands on their belly for a fun image. Months later, what looked just like a joke turned out to be surprising: all the friends were pregnant.
“It was all by chance,” said Laís Seraphim Revololi, one of the protagonists of the story, in a video shared on social networks. “We were at the wedding, we took the picture and, shortly thereafter, we started receiving the news from each other.”
The next Christmas, the group was already complete, with all the babies in their arms. Laís recalls that the friendship between her, Giulia, Talita, Paola, Manuela, Eliza and Laísi began at the time of primary school. Although they followed different ways and living in different cities, they never failed to keep in contact and find themselves at important times, such as Eliza’s marriage in 2022.
A month after photography, one of the friends announced the pregnancy, and so it was happening until all were waiting for a baby. “It was not planned,” said Laís. “If we had agreed, it would probably be much harder for it to happen. It was really the work of chance. ”
The moment has become a celebration of friendship and fate, showing that some stories do not even need to be planned to become unforgettable.
