However, to benefit from it, you have to buy a boiler for this fuel. “Be careful when choosing, because the choice of boiler can significantly affect the pellet consumption and thus expenses from your wallet,” warns the expert, continues, “Always choose a boiler that has the highest efficiency. Average consumption of pellets
Pellet consumption is therefore dependent on different factors and your priority is to be as low as possible and thus the cheapest. According to experts, 1 ton of wood pellets will last about 1.2 months depending on the size of your house, the frequency of the use of stoves and also the weather outside. The experiment that led the team of experts has shown that perhaps an 18 kilometer bag of wood pellet will last plus minus 12 – 24 hours, depending on the external circumstances.

“If you want to buy pellets at a good price, always order them out of season, ie in the spring,” recommends the expert, adding that the quality of the pellets on the market is different. It is partly guaranteed by the designation of certification on the packaging, such as Enplus, Din Plus.
