At the end of the game between FC Porto and Rome, which ended 1-1 draw, Martín Anselmi had to go several meters to be able to greet Claudio Ranieri. The meeting, played at the Dragon Stadium, was marked by some criticism from the Roma coach to the refereeing team.
Ranieri was dissatisfied, pointing to the number of cards displayed and the successive stops in the game, due to fouls and medical assists. However, Martín Anselmi defended the referee’s decisions, explaining that all yellow cards were properly justified at a very disputed meeting.
