ÖVP and SPÖ were already in media policy when negotiations on a joint government burst at the beginning of January. Reasons on the ORF already looked quite fixed, if not in such dramatic dimensions as in the FPÖ screenplay for public service broadcasting. This constellation for the ORF also planned a “re -sharpening of the objectivity bid”. A new sales promotion for newspaper delivery, but also an innovation promotion for private media was planned.
