Minister Alexandre de Moraes of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) authorized on Friday (14) that former federal deputy Daniel Silveira returns to the semi-open regime. However, the minister denied the pardon to the deputy.
Daniel Silveira was sentenced to 8 years and 9 months in prison for threats to the Democratic Rule of Law and incitement to violence against STF ministers.
According to Moraes’s decision, it is “the Christmas decree to be convicted of crimes against the Democratic Rule of Law”.
On Wednesday (12), the Attorney General’s Office (PGR) spoke out against the release of the former federal deputy by Christmas pardon.
Silveira was arrested on December 24 last year, four days after leaving the arrest. He was arrested again for breaking the measures imposed at the time of freedom, as revealed by the CNN.
