Despite the intense contradictions of many democratic and Republicans, as well as many health professionals, the US Senate today ratified the appointment of Robert Kennedy Jr.
The Senate, in which Republicans have control – upheld the appointment of this controversial candidacy in a neuralgic ministry. The senators maintained the party lines primarily, and with 52 votes in favor of 48, the appointment of the nephew of the murdered President “JFK” was ratified.
Only one Republican, the former majority leader in the Senate, Mitch McConnell, voted against Kennedy’s candidacy with the 47 Democrats. Confirmation paves the way for a new Minister of Health.
His listening to the Senate Committee that examined his candidacy was full of tensions and objections from Democrats who accused him of his controversial positions, mainly for his stance against vaccines. However, the Commission gave the green light to its appointment.
He has also been nominated against his candidate approval, members of the candidate’s family and the editorial teams of the Wall Street Journal and New York Post, with everyone saying that Robert Kennedy Junior is inappropriate for this post.
