The Ukrainian president is currently in Munich, where he will negotiate with the US vice president of JD Vance as part of the Munich Security Conference (MSC).
Vance in an interview with the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) said that the United States is ready through sanctions or military measures to put pressure on Russia if Putin is not a peace agreement that would guarantee independence for a long time. He described his words as “strong signals” and said that Kiev is grateful for them.

The Ukrainian President also announced on Friday that he will soon visit the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Turkey, but neither of these countries is planned to meet Russian or American officials.
