China believes that all involved in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine should participate in peace conversations, said Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi on Friday, highlighting the role of Europe in the process after the United States issued several messages on how to end the war.
Speaking at the Munich Security Conference, Wang said “that we hope all parties and those directly involved will participate in the peace process at the propitious moment.”
“China positively sees all efforts dedicated to peace, including any consensus achieved by the United States and Russia,” Wang said, according to the Chinese Foreign Ministry.
“As war occurs on European soil, Europe is very necessary to play a role for peace, to jointly evaluate the causes of the crisis, to find a balanced, effective and sustainable safety plan, and also to obtain long peace Deadline and stability in Europe, ”he said.
Wang also told the European Union that China is ready to raise the level of strategic debates with the bloc, increase mutual understanding and help bring more stability to the world, according to comments by European diplomacy head Kaja Kallas.
At a backstage meeting of the conference, he emphasized to Kallas China’s position in supporting Europe’s role in peace conversations, according to his ministry.

US President Donald Trump talked to Russian presidents Vladimir Putin, and Ukrainian, Volodymyr Zelenskiy on Wednesday. He took charge of starting the negotiations, adding that there is likely a meeting with Putin in Saudi Arabia.
He then said he did not find it practical for Ukraine to join the organization of the North Atlantic Treaty (NATO) and that the country was unlikely to recover all its lands.
The calls surprised the European allies, which warned the US so that they do not close an agreement on Ukraine without the involvement of Europe.

Pressing to secure a seat at the negotiation table, Zelenskiy said on Thursday that Ukraine would not accept bilateral agreements about her destination, designed by Moscow and Washington, without Kiev’s participation.
