Datafolha: Lula’s positive evaluation falls between people of all income

A approval of the president’s government Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) fell among people of all income, according to research Datafolha released this Friday (14).

Lula maintains his best assessment between those who earn up to two minimum wages, but the index fell 15 percentage points between the last survey in December, and current. From 44% to 29%.

Of those who earn between two and five minimum wages, there was a drop of nine percentage points, going from 26% to 17%.

Among those who earn five to ten minimum wages, the index fell seven percentage points, going from 25% to 18%.

Of those who earn more than ten minimum wages, the fall was from 14 percentage points, from 32% to 18%.

For the survey, Datafolha listened to 2,007 Brazilians in 113 cities, between Monday (10) and Tuesday (11).

The margin of error is three percentage points among the poorest up to 12 percentage points among the richest.

Negative record

In its three terms (2003-2006, 2007-2010 and the current), this is the lowest rate of great or good of the president.

The last poll, in December, pointed to government approval by 35% – that is: there was a drop of 11 percentage points. The general margin of error of the survey is two points.

In his three terms in the presidency, the lowest percentage of approval that Lula had hit was in 2005 amid the revelations of the monthly.

At the time, the petista’s government had reached 28% approval.

In the current term, which began in 2023, the previous negative record had been the 35% of December 2024, also registered in research in March and August of the same year.
