Modern apartments often have a hygienic core hidden inside the layout, and therefore it is not possible to ventilate naturally in the bathroom or in the toilet. But how do we do not fight mold in a few months?
Moisture, which starts to accumulate very quickly in each of the rooms where we treat water in any way can cause major problems. It is not just an unpleasant musty gust when we open the door, but mainly about the growth of mold. It is no longer just an aesthetic problem, but attacks human health.
It is therefore more than obvious that we must learn to effectively ventilate even in those areas that the architect did not recall through the window.
Beware of showering
The shower enclosure is perhaps a dream of many people, but we also have to realize its pitfalls. If we do not have a perfectly sealing screen, or at least a high -quality and long shower curtain, it is easy for the whole room to remain with a man. There is enough space and water to evaporate. Therefore, if you want to prevent the accumulation of moisture even with poor ventilation options, shower carefully and always secure well in the shower.
Try a window in another room
In addition to fans, there are also other, cheaper, but (we do not lie) less efficient methods. It is an attempt to natural ventilation, albeit transferred through a window in another room. If the bathroom is connected, for example, with a bedroom, there is no problem to leave this small room open whenever you ventilate the sleeping space. To increase the efficiency of such dehumidification, it is possible to put a classic fan in the door for a while to avoid the humid air from the bathroom – that is, you put it in a room with a window.
Dehumidifier may be a necessity
If the moisture accumulates in the bathroom and perhaps even collides, there will be nothing else to do but the location of the dehumidifier that will trap the water in the air into a special material. Only in this way will it be possible to prevent mold in this boundary case, which would certainly not be unpleasantly surprised.
Although it is not easy to keep such a bathroom dry, some preventive measures can also help. Be sure not to dry the laundry in it, try to take a shower rather than let it evaporate hot water from the bathtub for several tens of minutes and do not override in the bathroom. You will see that you will have a little less worried – and you will even save.
