The Tutorial Education Program (PET) of the Bachelor of Economics course at the Federal University of Acre (UFAC) published a survey with the meat price balance in 47 different establishments in the Acrean capital and in Assis Brasil. The data collection was made between February 8 and 12 and released this Friday (14).

This month all cuts of meat analyzed showed at least 1.19% from January. In addition, the values practiced in meat homes are 25.7% cheaper than in supermarkets.
The cuts of meat that recorded the highest fall are as follows: liver (7.03%), picanha (6.32%), bone shovel (5.22%) and rump (4.24%).
Those who had the smallest reduction were the soft cushion (2.00%,) muscle (1.38%), fillet (1.23%) and needle (1.19%).
The lowest absolute prices are on the liver, bone and needle shovel, which registered, in butchers and supermarkets the following values: R $ 10.95/R $ 16.22, R $ 17.06/R $ 24.65 and R $ 20 , 31/R $ 25,24. The highest values are the picanha, fillet and rump, with R $ 61.71/R $ 80.48, R $ 61.19/R $ 84.98 and R $ 39.56/R $ 58.12.
Among the cities, the fillet was the cut that presented the highest price difference, with the average of the values practiced in the capital being R $ 62.63 and in Assis Brasil R $ 49.62. Already the cut with the lowest difference between cities is the diaper, with price practiced in Assis Brazil being only R $ 0.30 higher than the capital.
