Meteorologists have issued a first level warning: there may be minus 15 degrees!

During Saturday night and Sunday (16. 2.) Morning temperatures in the districts in Orava, under the Tatras and the east can fall to minus 15 degrees Celsius. On its website, the Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMI), which issued a first level warning, informs about this. On Sunday evening, the warning will spread to other districts.

The low temperature warning lasts from Saturday 22.00 to Sunday morning until 9.00 HV districts Dolný Kubín, Námestovo, Tvrdošín, Liptovský Mikuláš, Brezno, Poprad, Kežmarok, Levoča, Spišská Nová Ves and Gelnica. “Low temperature is a potential danger to human health and physical activities in exteriors,” meteorologists pointed out.
