Survey in focal kindergartens: Children often not yet ready for school

Vienna – In children from kindergartens, in which the majority have a different first language than German and parents with a low or average level of education, the transition to school is often difficult. This is shown by surveys by the lines of around 140 kindergartens from Styria, Upper Austria, Tyrol and Vorarlberg. 70 percent stated that in more than half of their children they had no feeling with school maturity.
