Poultry is a delicate meat that gets full and adds energy. In this dish you will use chicken breasts, aromatic vegetables and expressive spices. The meat is marinated in an appetizing sauce, which makes it more taste and remains pleasantly juicy after baking. Due to the fact that you do not fry it in deep oil, it also has less calories than e.g. minced chops. You can serve baked chicken breasts with potatoes, rice or pasta. Also, don’t forget about your favorite, preferably crunchy salad or salad.

Ingredients:

  • 2 single chicken breasts (about 600 g),
  • 4 mature tomatoes,
  • 150 g of expressive yellow cheese (e.g. radamer),
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic,
  • onion,
  • a teaspoon of oregano,
  • a teaspoon of basil,
  • 1/2 teaspoon of sweet pepper,
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground chili pepper,
  • salt, freshly ground pepper (to taste),
  • olive oil (for frying),
  • Several dill branches (for decoration).

Method of performance:

1) Clean meat from membranes and cartilage. Each of the fillets cross in half lengthwise. Gently break the meat with a pestle. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

2) Bry tomatoes and peel off the cuticles. Remove the seed nests. Cut the pulp into cubes.

3) Peel onions and garlic. Cut the onion into cubes and chop the garlic.

4) Grate yellow cheese with medium mesh.

5) Fry the onion for a little oil. At the end of frying, add garlic.

6) Add tomatoes to the vegetables in the pan. Fry until it softens and evaporates excess water from them. Season the sauce with herbs and both peppers. Salt and grant to taste. Simmer the sauce for a while (it should be quite thick).

7) grease the bottom of the heat -resistant dish with olive oil and spread the prepared chicken fillets in it. Spread the tomato sauce on each piece of meat. Put a portion of grated cheese on top.

8) Put an ovenproof dish in the oven preheated to 200 ° C. Bake chicken for 25-30 minutes. You can serve chicken breasts prepared in this way with potatoes or rice.
