Tech conference in Syria wants to “bring Silicon Valley to Damascus”

“Solve real problems and spark the Tech Renaissance that Syria deserves!” With these words, the Sync25 tech conference, which took place in Damascus last week. While the country is stabilizing after the fall of the dictator Bashar al-Assad and recently promoted humanitarian and economic help at Turkey and Saudi Arabia, the organizers of the conference want to bring the Silicon Valley to Syria-and thus theirs contribute to the reconstruction.
