First published in 1952, the magazine circulated weekly until 2000, when the Bloch Editores Group Faliu. Then it was bought in 2002 and had eventual editions until 2007.
Cristiano Burmester, professor of the Journalism course at PUC-SP, notes that, although advertising direction has easier and more accurate measurement in digital, the print offers a longer exposure of ads.
The teacher states that printed magazines attract a specific audience that currently seeks something beyond information. “The reading experience resembles a leisure ritual. The printed medium will hardly resume the dimension it has had, but if well worked and directed to an interested audience, it can overcome barriers.”
