Gilberto Xandó announced in a LinkedIn publication that he will leave the presidency of JBS Brazil to take the lead of Wild Fork North America, JBS’s arm focused on the marketing of frozen proteins. With the departure of Xandó, the presidency of JBS Brazil will be accumulated by Gilberto Tomazoni, Global CEO of JBS, according to source.
The change of operation is part of a new phase of Xandó within the group, with the responsibility of conducting brand expansion in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
“After three years ahead of JBS Brasil, the time has come to face a new challenge within the group,” Xandó said in the publication on LinkedIn.
He highlighted the “extraordinary results” obtained in the period and thanked the JBS Brazil team.
Wild Fork stands out for combining e-commerce and physical stores, offering beef cuts, pork, birds, seafood and consumer products, in a model similar to SWIFT in Brazil.
The company focuses on convenience, with ultra -engineered products.
