Laws in Portugal, namely the Civil Code, define that a landlord may report the contract when the tenant does not pay two rents in a row.

But there is a woman who lives in Viseu, who has not paid for more than two years and is still at home.
The case explains: the income is 600 euros a month, not paid since 2022, but the tenant has escaped the dump in court.
