During the event, he also stressed that fuel prices are on alarming levels, influenced by increases in ICMS and the company’s own tariffs. “So when an announcement comes from diesel, gasoline and gas, Petrobras leads to fame and the federal government leads to fame. And often Petrobras is no fault. The people do not know that gasoline leaves Petrobras at $ 3.04 and arrives at the bomb at more than $ 6.49. That is, it is sold for double, ”said the petista, commenting that the same happens with gas and diesel. Lula emphasized the need for transparency in relation to prices, so that the population better understand cost formation.
In recent days, fuel prices have been readjusted again, with gasoline reaching R $ 6.37 and diesel R $ 6.39. These increases are partly attributed to the increase of ICMS and the readjustments made by Petrobras.
