Energy prices do not fly up as quickly as they have been up to a few months ago, but remained at high values. Therefore, it is certainly suitable to know an interesting trick to keep heat in the house.
Where else should we take inspiration in heat savings than with experts from Nordic countries. Although in our conditions we often complain about the cold, a few parallel lines closer to the North Pole are the local inhabitants much worse. They have to cope with incomparable frosts, and because they also need to save, they can do almost impossible from our point of view.

Efficiency in the first place
Effective energy management, even at extremely low temperatures, has led the Nordic nations to many improvement procedures that we can inspire in Central Europe. One such good ideas is the use of bubble foil. It’s not a joke and it really works – maybe even better than we could think. A cheap trick will help improve thermal insulation and significantly reduce housing costs.
Bubble foil will save it
What do we need for this method of keeping heat in the apartment? Nothing but a completely ordinary bubble foil, which we know more as a safe packaging of easily broken goods than as a thermal insulator. But the truth is that the air in the bubbles very easily prevents heat leakage from our home. We just need to know how to use such a foil. It’s easy, so there’s nothing to wait for.
In danger are mainly old houses
Large heat leaks are often produced mainly in older houses, where windows are not so leaking, or they are still fitted with old simple glass. It is very difficult to heat such a room, unless we take at least a temporary axle. Maybe with the help of a bubble foil – even at the price of a temporarily poor view from the window. It will be enough if we cut the correct piece of foil, which will cover the entire window table, on which we then stick it.
It goes without adhesive
You do not have to worry that after the greatest frosts subsides, you will also remove the smudges of the tape or adhesive along with the foil. The bubbles will hold very well on the glass even if the window first just orthose with clean water with the help of a fine sprayer. The foil then adheres to the glass and will wait patiently for your next decision.
Select at least some windows
If you do not want to adjust the windows in the rooms where you are most moving during the day, you can use the heat saving trick at least in the bedroom, or in the guest room, in an unused children’s room and in all the technical areas of the house. There will be nothing to disturb the aesthetic impression, but you will notice your efforts in your wallet. According to experts from cold states, it is possible to save up to fifty percent of the energy needed for heating. And that’s really a lot.
