I am a secondary teacher and currently teach 15 to 16 year olds. They are my students for almost four months: inside. The class and I understand each other very well, the lessons are alive and works perfectly. They are great, critical, reflected young people. During the past few months it has happened that you follow Instagram – no legal problem, provided that no school topics are discussed in group chats or is violated against data protection, I have informed myself. In any case, we occasionally exchange ideas about world affairs or operate small talk. From some parents I received the feedback that they think it is good, some college: on the inside are skeptical and suspect too much proximity between me and my students: inside. I personally have no problem with it, I don’t have the feeling that they no longer perceive me as an authority. I would be interested in how you see it, also from parenting.
