The cases of dengue have been drawing attention in the state of Acre, and in the municipality of Rodrigues Alves, is no different. In the city, the number of records rose 215.47%, from 168 notifications at the beginning of 2024 to 530 in early 2025.

“We have today, from January to date, 530 reported cases, and we have 480 probable cases of dengue. In the same period of 2024, we had only 168 notifications and only 20 new cases proven, ”the secretary told Juruá Online.
The most affected neighborhood of the municipality, which has approximately 15 thousand inhabitants is São Francisco, in addition, the secretary also reveals that the urban area is where most cases are concentrated.
“This number covers the entire population of Rodrigues Alves, both the urban and rural area, but is mainly concentrated in the urban area. The neighborhood with the most notifications is São Francisco, ”he explained.
Data collection was held on February 13, and if the numbers continue to be discharged during the next evaluations, more rigorous measures will be taken with the state government.
