Deputy Afonso Motta (PDT-RS) asked on Tuesday (18) the dismissal of his parliamentary advisor Lino Rogério Furtado, who was the target of the Federal Police (PF) and is investigated for participation in a diverting scheme.
A CNN He had access to the document about the resignation of the advisor, which will still be formalized in an official publication of the Chamber of Deputies until this Wednesday (19).
In the exoneration request sent to the Human Resources area of the House, it is detailed that Lino Rogério should return his badge, vehicle card, keys of the case and books borrowed from the Chamber Library.
Lino Rogério was a parliamentary secretary of the deputy since October 2016. So far, the PF has not attributed accusations to Afonso Motta.
Despite the resignation, Afonso Motta said on Thursday (13), believing in the innocence of his then advisor and would await the development of investigations. That day, the PF fulfilled 11 search and seizure warrants and two personal search warrants against alleged deviations in parliamentary amendments.
Motta’s now former advisor was one of the targets of the action. The PF investigates the performance of a criminal organization that directed parliamentary amendments and appropriated part of these public resources.
In the case under analysis, located in Santa Cruz do Sul (RS), with the collection, according to the PF, of percentage of the amounts passed on.
In addition to Lino, Metroplan’s administrative and financial director, Cliver André Fiegenbalfm, is also investigated. Metroplan is linked to the State Department of Urban and Metropolitan Development of Rio Grande do Sul.
