Civil society and experts can send suggestions by March 5 through the Federal Government platform
The Ministry of Sport opened public consultation on Monday (17.FEV.2025) to evaluate the inclusion of Electronic Sports (E-Sports) at Ordinance Mesp 125/2024, which defines the authorized modalities for fixed quota bets on sporting events.
The National Secretariat of Sports Betting and Economic Development of Sport (Snaede) will receive contributions from civil society and specialists.
“With the growth of the e-Sports sector and its economic and social impact, we seek to understand what modalities, civil society glimpses for the ordinance and which criteria suggest being adopted,” said Giovanni Rocco, national secretary of Snaede.
According to Rocco, with the answers obtained, the Ministry may evaluate adjustments in the current concierge, with the objective of aligning the expectations of society.
The form is available on the participate + Brazil platform up to 5.mar.2025.
