The Irene Rolo Foundation in Tavira was the scene of the first workshop of the Inclusive Arts Festival, an initiative that promotes the artistic capabilities of people with functional diversity and reinforces the commitment to the Algarve community, bringing social institutions and cultural agents closer.

Held on February 13, this first workshop had as its theme the adapted dance, with the dynamization of Anabela and Iara, from the dance project to mind.

The session brought together 20 participants with functional diversity from the Irene Rolo Foundation and the Algarvia Association, which had the opportunity to explore the benefits of adapted dance, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.

In addition to the artistic experience, the event provided a moment of special conviviality, with a coffee break offered by the Flavors with affection project, boosted by the Irene Rolo Foundation.

The Inclusive Arts Festival is a project funded by European funds, under the Algarve 2030 regional program, and will continue to develop three more workshops, promoting inclusion through art.
