Creator states that interactive tool with almost 5 million views has been made to “help friends motoboys”
An interactive map that says detailing the areas of activity of criminal factions in Rio de Janeiro has gained prominence on social networks, such as X, Reddit and Telegram. Created by the Channel Pega Vision RJ, on May 2, 2024, the map already records 4,943,464 views on Google Maps.
Despite being created in May, the map link was only shared for the first time in the Telegram Group of Pega Vision RJ on June 11, 2024.
The map would show the territories of the following groups:
- Red Command (CV);
- Third Pure Command (TCP);
- Friends of Friends (ADA);
- Zinho Militia (former Justice League);
- Militias without ties with the main groups of the state (CL, Militia de Nova Iguaçu or Campinho Militia).
The areas dominated by the red command are identified in red, with the initials “CV”. Already the territories controlled by the Friends of Friends faction are highlighted in yellow, with the initials “ADA”. The zones under the influence of the third pure command appear in green, with the acronym “TCP”.
The projection is often released by the Telegram do Pega Vision RJ channel, which uses the map demarcations to indicate the location of the news published.

Great Vision RJ is a profile on social networks with reports about Rio. It focuses on criminal occurrences and police operations in state communities. Created on January 25, 2024, it currently has almost 21,000 entries on Telegram.

In an interview with Poder360the person responsible for the channel, who declined to be identified, said that the map was created to “Help Friends Motoboys”. Currently, the tool is constantly updated with information sent by residents, application drivers and motoboys circulating in each area.
“Residents contact us and inform which streets are under the domain of criminals. We then update the map”Said the official.
The creator also reported that the map’s main objective is to protect workers who circulate in these areas, such as application drivers and delivery, to “do not enter rival faction areas where they live“, he said. He stated that these people are at risk, even if they are not part of any faction.
