The Minister of Mines and Energy has again asked publicly for the issuance of the Environmental License that will allow Petrobras (;) drill and search in the Northeast and North Coast of the country. “Petrobras has already delivered complementary studies to Ibama and the time has come for this key to turn,” Silveira said at an event organized by Petrobras in Angra dos Reis, Rio de Janeiro.
He continued: “We want to research the equatorial margin in an environmentally sustainable way. We have to enjoy this source of national wealth and generate jobs throughout the country. The positive results of our reserves will accelerate the energy transition in Brazil. ”
