The mayor of Maricá (RJ) and national vice president of, Washington Quaquá, said on Monday (17) that he will ask for an internal investigation from the party against the government’s racial equality (PT) ,.
The leader of the acronym accuses the co -religionist of being responsible for indicating a supposed ghost employee in the municipality during past management. Anielle denies any irregularity.
Former Maricá City Hall, the employee mentioned by Quaquá is Alex da Mata Barros, who would have been admitted on June 1, 2021 and left the position of special advisor on January 1, 2025.

The PT’s vice president also said that, during the period in which he worked at the Municipal Secretariat, Barros would have provided services to the Ministry of Racial Equality-in May 2024, he was hired as a consultant to the Black People Project “Reconstruction and Development”.
Quaquá said it will take the case to the Ethics Commission this week.
In a statement, the Ministry of Racial Equality states that Barros’s consultancy was hired through a Banco CAF (Latin American Development Bank) notice, within international standards.
“The document was widely published on the website of the Ministry of Racial Equality for Public Knowledge, and the registered curricula were analyzed according to the criteria established in the selection process,” says the note.
The folder also pointed out that Anielle “did not perform and does not make any selection for consulting projects to the Ministry of Racial Equality”.
The crack between the two petistas began in January, when, appointed as the mastermind of the murder of Anielle.
In the post, Quaquá suggests that both Sundays and his brother Chiquinho Brazão –umbos defendants in the investigation that investigates the death of the councilwoman – are innocent.
