The woman is a former partner of a retired military police officer and, seeking information in the neighborhood, heard from witnesses that the perpetrator was a Civil Police delegate.

What does the president say?

The MP-AC denounced Frank in October last year for shooting on public roads. At the same time, the MP-AC asked the court to be fulfilled a search warrant and seizure at the delegate’s house to seize a 9mm caliber pistol, similar to the weaponry used in the shots.

The weaponry was delivered by the investigated at the time. MP-AC’s complaint was accepted by Judge Cloves Augusto Alves Cabral Ferreira at the end of October last year.

The case is processed at the 3rd Criminal Court of the Rio Branco District. The court began to summon witnesses and others involved for the instruction and trial hearing.

Gladson says president can defend himself

Acre Governor Gladson Cameli commented on the complaint filed by the Public Prosecutor of the State of Acre (MPAC) against the president of the Institute of Penitentiary Administration (Iapen), Marcos Frank, for firearm shots on public roads.

After the repercussion of the case, Gladson Cameli defended the need for transparency and respect for investigations from the competent bodies, but stressed that Frank will be entitled to defense.

In addition to the recent case, the MPAC stressed that Marcos Frank is already a repeat offender in a similar situation. In an earlier case, which occurred in Sena Madureira, he would have fired on public roads, however, the situation did not reach a lawsuit, as he was able to sign a non -criminal agreement.
