Commentators José Eduardo Cardozo and Caio Coppolla discussed, this Monday (17), in The Great Debate (Monday to Friday, at 11 pm), if the President of the Republic, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (PT), is isolated and different from his previous governments in this last term.
The questioning comes after a letter from the lawyer and ally of the PT circular in groups of allies close to the chief executive.
Kakay characterized Lula as “isolated”, someone who “does not do politics”, to have “people with the ability to say what he would have to hear” by his side. In addition, he said that the president no longer receives the “old political friends”, and hopes for the growth of a more civilized right.
For Coppolla, the lawyer felt “disregarded” by the president, with whom he would have lost his influence.
“Doctor Kakay feels disregarded,” said Coppolla. And he added: “I find it very ugly to bite the hand that feeds you, but in the fight between the lawyer and the politician, I hope for the fight.”
“As soon as the research has confirmed the dissatisfaction of the people on the streets, the lawyer has already signaled that it is time to look for alternatives,” continued the commentator.
Already Cardozo sees that the exposed message ends up serving as the ammunition for the opposition, and that the consequences of what was done were not evaluated.
“With regard to the opportunity, I think, despite Kakay’s good intention, he did not evaluate the consequence of what was being said. He may think, reflect, but he is not on a stage, for example, in a doctoral thesis at the gym, where people go pension, will reflect, will try, ”said Cardozo.
“He is in a polarized political scenario in which what he does ends up being taken advantage of the opposite ideological field, and is used against the field he wants to defend and wants to reinforce with that place,” he said.
