Algarveshopping, on the tab in Albufeira, returns to efforts with Animal Rescue Algarve (ARA) to promote a new campaign to adopt pets. The initiative takes place this Saturday, February 22, in the central area of the shopping center, on floor 0, next to the Meeting Point, between 10:00 and 17:00.
The main objective of this action is to encourage responsible adoption, providing visitors the opportunity to welcome a new member for the family. During the event, it will be possible to know six animals that will be present in the shopping center, as well as schedule visits under ARA to meet other dogs and cats waiting for a home.
To sensitize the public, some of the animals were protagonists of a special photo shoot, prepared to melt hearts.
Animal Rescue Algarve is dedicated to the collection, rehabilitation and resettlement of vulnerable animals, also promoting regular awareness campaigns on responsible adoption. Has been a frequent partner of these initiatives, reaffirming their commitment to the community and supporting social causes through their notoriety and visibility.
In addition, the shopping center stands out for being a pet friendly space since 2023, allowing pets to enter both in common areas and several properly marked stores.
This campaign represents another opportunity to sensitize the community and provide a safe and affectionate home to many animals that still wait for a second opportunity.
