At least 112,000 properties remain without electricity on the morning of Wednesday (19), due to heavy rains that hit the metropolitan region, including the state capital, on Tuesday (18). According to a bulletin released this Wednesday morning by Distribution São Paulo, precipitation mainly affected the north and west areas of the city of São Paulo.

The company said it reinforced its emergency action plan with the early mobilization of field teams.

“Distribuidora technicians worked uninterruptedly, even at dawn and normalized the service to most customers. At the moment, they continue working to normalize energy for affected customers. ”

Death

Due to the heavy rains that fell in Sao Paulo the night before, a death was recorded. The victim, who did not have an informed identity, was inside a vehicle that was dragged by a flood at the height of 1,438 of Avenida General Edgar Facó, in the parish of Ó, north of the state capital.

In case of lack of light, Enel advises customers prioritize digital channels to streamline the service:

– Enel São Paulo Application: Available for iOS and Android;

– WhatsApp (Elena): (21) 99601-9608.
