Jane Fraser, CEO of Citigroup, received $ 34.5 million for his work in the management of the bank giant in 2024, an increase of about 33%.
The bank’s Board of Directors said Fraser is “ready and carefully” his view of transforming Citi.
Fraser took the top of the echelon in Citi with clear, though formidable guidelines: rationalize and simplify what was once the largest financial services company in the world, raise the price of stock and remedy the regulatory situation in which it is found since a series of setbacks accelerated the departure of the anterior CEO.
The boasting can take some time to complete, however. In January, CITI reduced the performance target to 2026 and said it expects the return on average tangible equity to increase from 10% to 11%, below the previous target of 11% to 12%. The bank also has not yet separated its Mexican consumer arm, Banamex.
