The former president () was denounced on Tuesday (18) by the Attorney General, to the Federal Supreme Court to prevent the inauguration of (PT) after losing the 2022 elections.
Bolsonaro was accused by the (Attorney General’s Office) of committing crimes of attempted violent abolition of the Democratic Rule of Law and coup d’état, damage qualified by violence and serious threat against the union’s assets, deterioration of overturned assets and participation in a criminal organization. Added, the maximum penalties reach 43 years in prison.
In addition to Bolsonaro, another 33 people were reported, among them, former Minister Walter Braga Netto, who was a candidate for vice president on the 2022 plate and is currently arrested preventively.
With the measure, they formally move on to the condition of accused, but not defendants, which occurs only when the Supreme Court checks the complaint and to accept it for trial.
