Thick cauliflower steaksabundantly sprinkled with spices and Parmesan cheese is a delicious and filling dish that will work both as an independent dish and as an addition to meats. The preparation time is very fast, it is extremely easy to prepare. Cauliflower is low in calories and the vegetarian dish itself.
To make this provision, the following ingredients will be needed:
- 2 medium cauliflower heads,
- 50 g of grated Parmesan cheese,
- 50 g of breadcrumbs,
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil,
- 1 teaspoon of salt,
- ½ teaspoon of black pepper,
- 1 teaspoon of granulated garlic,
- 1 teaspoon of pepper,
- 1 teaspoon of coriander.
Wash the cauliflower, remove external leaves and bottom of the core. Cut it into slices about 2 cm thick. You can bake pieces that fall apart and rubble together with prepared steaks so as not to waste any ingredient.
Put the baking tray with baking paper and smear with a thin layer of olive oil. Put cauliflower slices on it.
Mix all spices in a bowl. Sprinkle the top of the vegetables with half of them, and then smear with oil.
Put the dish in the oven set on 220 degrees Celsius and bake for 15 minutes.
Remove the cauliflower and turn to the other side. Add breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese to the other spices. Mix and sprinkle the other side of the vegetables with the mixture.
Cripe cauliflower with olive oil and put the whole thing again in the oven for another 10-15 minutes or until tender and nice browning.
Serve the cauliflower steaks immediately after preparation, preferably with the addition of meat and light salad.
Store the remains in the fridge, in a tightly closed container. Use within 4 days. You can also freeze cauliflower for up to 3 months.
