It announced it on Wednesday (19) that Brazil will again host one of the international games of the regular season. Los Angeles Chargers will play on September 5 at the Corinthians Stadium, Stadium. Charges’ opponent should be announced in April, when the season table is released.
It will be the second time that NFL has a game for Brazil. In 2024, Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers went through the same Neo Chemistry Arena in the first regular NFL season game in Brazil.
The matches are part of one, which from 2025 can score up to eight of their regular season games outside the United States. This year there were already six matches scheduled: three in London, one in Berlin, one in Madrid and the debut in Dublin.

“It is an honor to represent NFL once again on an international stage,” said Ag Spanans, chargers’ business operations president. “It’s also a great opportunity to help expand the sport and bring the mark of Chargers to millions of fans in Latin America.”

The city hall estimates that last year’s game has had an economic impact of $ 60 million in the city. “The return of NFL in 2025 proves how prepared St. Paul is prepared for major events and to receive tourists from around the world,” said São Paulo Mayor Ricardo Nunes.
Since the NFL was created, 55 regular seasons matches have been played outside the United States. It will be the fourth time that Charges has been in one of them: the club has played twice in Londes and one in Mexico City.
