Nike and Kam Kardashian’s Lingerie brand are coming together to create a new women -oriented fitness brand.
In a statement, Nike and Skims said they are working on an “extensive line” of clothes, shoes and accessories under the Nikeskims brand. New partners say they have a long -term vision for activewear clothing that adjust to the female body.
“This partnership is the culmination of this shared view, offering meticulously designed products to shape and perform for all bodies,” said Kardashian, co -founder of Skims.
The first Nikeskims collection will be launched in the spring, Kardashian said in the statement. Executives plan to expand the brand globally by 2026.
Nike has been focused again on women athletes while starting a recovery effort under the new executive director Elliott Hill. Earlier this month, the company broadcast an announcement on Super Bowl for the first time in decades, highlighting great women’s sports stars such as WNBA’s Caitlin Clark, sprinter Sha’arri Richardson and gymnast Jordan Chiles.
Nike shares rose up to 2.2% in pre-market negotiations on Tuesday in New York. The shares are falling 3.5% this year until the closing of Friday.
