Casa Álvaro de Campos, in Tavira, receives this Friday, February 21, at 18: Tiago Marcos30, another session of the cycle Poema meeting between poetry and music. In this 89th session, Tiago Marcos presents Dark matter and other poemsaccompanied by the guitar by musician Alfaro.
The poet, who stood out with The Source of Wordsbook published in 2017, gave rise to shows as In the eyes of the night e On the reverse of words. Now, I return to Poem To give voice to texts of your next book, providing a moment of poetry said and accompanied by surrounding sounds.
The event is part of the 2025 season of this cycle of poetry and music promoted by Casa Álvaro de Campos, which has been asserting itself as a space for the celebration of the word and performance art in Tavira.
It emerged in 1987, inspired by the figure of the poet Álvaro de Campos, who was born in Tavira, on October 15, 1890 and has the support of the Tavira Chamber to perform his programming.
The Association boosts various cultural activities/events, paying special attention to the dissemination of the work of artists in the region. It has also edited some works on CD and book.
