SHMI issues alerts: In several districts, temperatures may drop to minus 17 degrees Celsius!

In several districts of Slovakia it is necessary to count on low temperatures. They may drop up to minus 17 degrees Celsius. This is pointed out by the Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMI) who issued first -level warnings. Informs about it on his website.

Alerts pay for the whole Žilina Region and several districts of Banská Bystrica, Trenčín, Košice and Prešov regions. The temperature there may fall to the morning to minus 15, in places up to minus 17 degrees Celsius. “Low temperature poses a potential danger to human health and physical activities in exteriors,” recalls SHMI. Alerts pay from Wednesday from 22.00 to Thursday (20 2.) to 8.00 am.
