Peskov thus expressed the day after the negotiations of the US and Russia Foreign Ministers in Saudi Arabia, Where Washington and Moscow agreed to create high -level teams, which will discuss the way of ending the war in Ukraine.
According to Peskov, ministers at the meeting on Tuesday mainly dealt with bilateral relations. “Yesterday’s talks were focused on the restoration plan for Russian-American relations in order to create conditions for their recovery,” declared. According to him, there are many problems between the US and Russia and cannot be solved in one day.
Nevertheless, the Kremlin spokesman considers Tuesday’s meeting an important step in connection with the solution of the situation in Ukraine. “This is a very, very important step towards creating conditions for a peaceful solution,” said. “On both sides, I mean Russian and American, there was a proper political will,” Peskov said.
