The model is equipped with a 2.4 kW electric motor (about 3.2 hp), mounted on the rear wheel cube, that offers maximum torque of 135,3 Nm. With this configuration, Neo’s Connected fits as mopeddespite the appearance similar to that of a scooter.

The news is fueled by two Removable Lithium Batterieswith capacity of 23.2 AH each, which can be loaded at home or in the vehicle itself. The full recharge time ranges from five to nine hours, depending on the battery level.

Neo’s Connected promises to draw attention for the modern and functional look. In addition, Yamaha uses finishes that prioritize durability, such as rubberized frames to protect against small scratches. The lighting system is full LED.

It still comes with a hook To hang objects, a front-door holder and one 12V socket to load devices furniture. In addition, the space under the seat can accommodate an open helmet when the two batteries are installed, or a closed helmet if only one battery is used.

The moped has the system Yamaha Motorcycle Connect (Y-Connect)which allows the pilot to monitor information such as battery status, call notifications, and digital panel messages. Lighting is 100% LED, including headlights, arrows and flashlights, ensuring greater visibility and safety.

According to the Japanese brand, Neo’s has Autonomy of 71 kmaccording to the WMTC (World Motorcycle Test Cycle) standard. The model has two pilot modes: STD (standard), which offers total power, and ECO (economic), which prioritizes energy saving.

The suspension system, consisting of telescopic fork at the front and oscillating arm in the rear. Already the brakes, with hydraulic disc at the front and mechanical drum in the rear, offer safety and control.

Neo’s Connected production has already started in Manaus (AM), and the first units will hit stores in February, in colors Matte blue, metallic black and metallic. It now remains to follow how the market will receive this new bet from Yamaha. This is because, with the price of $ 33,990, the customer can buy a combustion motorcycle of a higher category, rather than an electric moped.
