Experts are looking for the answers for this. The Canadian authorities were able to retrieve the black boxes of the Bombardier CRJ-900 flying a flight from Minneapolis, USA and there they believe they will find the necessary information.
Experts want to see if they all worked properly during the pilot’s attempt to land the plane, but many have already turned their attention to the weather. Powerful winds were blowing in the area which may have played a decisive role in the accident.
According to videos circulating at the time of the landing, the aircraft landed faster than the foreseen, leaving the left wing on the ground. Then the plane was overthrown, turned around and wrapped in flames.
The good news was that the eighty occupants were able to get out of it, while three of them are still in serious condition.
