Manila/Philippines-In the metropolitan area of Manila, the authorities have exposed a reward for mosquitoes to stop the spread of the dengue fever. Carlito Cernal, village leader of Barangay Addition Hills in the center of Manilas, announced a reward of a peso (less than two US cent) for five mosquitoes each. Dengue fever can be transferred by mosquitoes, Cernal wants to contain the recent increase in illness cases again.
