CCDR Algarve opens public consultation for cultural incentive program

The Board of Directors of the Algarve Regional Coordination and Regional Development Commission (CCDR) approved the warning project of the non -professional regional cultural initiatives support program, with an investment of 175,000 euros to strengthen the region’s cultural fabric throughout 2025.

According to Article 9 (3) of Annex to, of 5 December, which defines the statutes of the entity, and in accordance with the deliberation of the Board of Directors of 5 January 2024, which approved the new structure Organic, the CCDR Algarve Culture Unit assumes the responsibility of supporting local and regional cultural initiatives of a non -professional nature. This support aims to correct inequalities in access to cultural creation and enjoyment, promoting the participation of communities in artistic and cultural activities.

The Support Program Warning Project is now in public consultation, allowing cultural and interested agents to analyze it and make suggestions. The consultation is available online, and contributions can be submitted until April 3 through the email.
