Do you dream of juicy, delicious carrots in your garden? Although traditional cultivation methods are well known, these two Chinese methods will not only facilitate the planting process, but will also ensure excellent harvest.
Chinese Methods: Innovative Solution with Tuptual Paper
The first method, though unusual, is surprisingly effective. That’s what to do:
Prepare the soil:
- Thoroughly spin the ground
- Insert fertilizer (superphosporin, phytosporin or humus)
- Align the surface
Prepare the “Sowing Straps”:
- Cut toilet paper into narrow sections
- Attach carrot seeds with the optimum distance
- Prepare furrows in the bed
- Put the prepared bands with seeds
The advantages of this method are obvious – you will no longer need to thin out the sprouts, and weed weeding will become much simpler as you will clearly see where the carrots grow.
Bottle method: Simple but effective
The second way is especially suitable when you want to protect the seeds:
- Take a 0.5 l plastic bottle
- Add the required amount of seeds per bed
- Add fine dust
- Shake well
- Rip the mixture evenly to the ready -made furrow
Notes and tips
No matter which method you choose, it is recommended to water the beds with birch tar before sowing. Prepare the solution: Mix 10 liters of water on 1 teaspoon.
These methods not only facilitate the planting process, but also ensure:
- Even distribution of seeds
- Optimal distance between plants
- Lighter care during growth
- Higher yields
Try these methods in your garden and enjoy the great carrot harvest!
