For cinema lovers, Cine Araújo brings the debut of four films, among them both nominated for the Oscar 2025, Flow e O BrutalistaIn addition to them, there is the Kayara animation – Princess Inca and the Brazilian movie Faith for the Impossible.

The exhibitions begin this Thursday (20), the flow debuts at the session of 3:30 pm, the brutalist at 4:30 pm, faith for the impossible at 2:00 pm and Kayara-Princess Inca at 2:45 pm. Flow
An animation directed by Gints Zilbalodis and an original co -production between Latvia and France, the film Flow tells the story of a lonely gray cat that has its home destroyed by a great flood and search for a new home ends up facing challenges on the way.
Lost, the pet receives help in a boat inhabited by various species of animals. Together they must adapt to a new world.
The film was nominated for two Oscar 2025 categories, best animation and best international film competing with ‘I’m still here’. He also won the Golden Globe in the Best Animation Movie category.
The brutalist
The brutalist (in the original ‘The Brutalist’) is directed by Brady Corbet and written by Mona Fastvv. The film, a US production, tells the story of Hungarian architect László Toth, played by Adrien Brody, who leaves Europe after World War II to rebuild his life in America.
During his journey, Lásslzó meets a rich man Harrison (Guy Pearce) and his son Harry (Joe Alwayn, former boyfriend of singer Taylor Swfit) who help him rebuild his life through architectural drawings. However, Harrison hides a secret.
Kayara – A Princess Inca
Messengers of the Inca Empire, the ‘chasquis’ traveled across the mountain region to the rivers. They were fast and strong and only allowed men to be part of the select group. Kayara, however, is determined to change this scenario by becoming the first woman to join the chasquis order.
Throughout his journey, Kayara will have to overcome all other messengers, defend the city of great dangers and save citizens from the Inca Empire. The animation film is directed by Cesar Zelada and an original production from the United States.
Faith for the impossible
Based on the book ‘Back over’ by writers Philip Murdoch and Renée Murdoch. The film directed by Emani Nunes, tells the story of pastor Renée Murdoch (played by Vanessa Giácomo) who, after being hit in the head with a piece of wood by a homeless man will end up in a hospital with head trauma. The Brazilian film tells her and family’s story to survive the situation.
