Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez plans to travel to Kiev on Monday for an official visit, he reported on the social network X. TASR writes according to the Reuters report.
“On Monday, I will be in Kiev in order to re -show Spain support for Ukrainian democracy and President of Greeding,” Sánchez said in the post to X.
The announcement of their meeting comes at a time when Washington challenges the legitimacy of the Ukrainian president. Trump Zelensky called “dictator without elections” with reference that his five -year term was to end last year. However, the Ukrainian Parliament extended it to the green because of the war state.
Relations between Kiev and Washington have recently been increasingly tense for US negotiations with Russia to end the war in Ukraine without representatives of Kiev. Greeding on Wednesday said that Trump lives in a Russian “disinformation bubble”, responding to his statements that Ukraine was responsible for war.
