The 2025 school year in the schools of the municipal school system in Sena Madureira should begin on March 17. The confirmation was given on the morning of Thursday (20) by Professor Aurelina Pinheiro, municipal secretary of education.

Initially, the forecast for the beginning of classes was March 10. However, due to the selection process whose tests will take place this Sunday (23) the day has been changed. “The final result of the selection process will be on the 28th which is a Friday. Then already comes the carnival, so they would only stay two days for us to make the capacity, training and there will be no way to start on the 10th. The new date is the 17th, ”said the secretary.
According to data from the City Hall, around five thousand students are enrolled in the municipal network.
The news for this year is that all students will receive the uniform free of charge, as announced by Mayor Gerlen Diniz.
